Sonja Veterinary Assistant

Sonja has had a passion for animals since she was a young girl. It began with collecting National Geographic pamphlets to read. She started helping every insect, frog, bird or pet she came across. After working at a doggie daycare and learning animal training, she knew she wanted to work with animals. Sonja began going to school for a bachelors in Animal Health and Behavior in October 2022, and has since expanded her goals to working with exotic rehabilitation and conservation. Sonja aspires to apply her passion and knowledge to treat animals both domestic and wild and someday own her own rescue facility.
